BSA NORTH SCITUATE TROOP 2
These hikes are planned as beginner/moderate group # 1 and # 2 and very strenuous group # 3. We had requests from scouts and parents for all three type of these adventures.
The beginner hike is for scouts and parents that want to experience a White Mountain Adventure but have held back because of inexperience or unknowns. The terrain footing will be solid with some mild ascents, the views will still be magnificent. Total mileage will be approximately 6-7 miles with a 2900 foot vertical gain.
The moderate hike involves challenging climbs that the average person can complete with confidence. Total mileage is approximately 10 -11 miles with 5700 foot vertical gain.
The strenuous hike involves extremely challenging climbs that requires good physical condition (that will be tested). Total mileage is approximately 23.5 miles with 10,000 foot vertical gain.
